Thought I would send you a picture of the beautiful backyard of DK Kitchen! The Ice Storm last week was beautiful to look at. Happily all trees stayed standing. The storm did play some havoc on hydro for Friday’s BIG Bake Off! It was predicted we would not have hydro for the whole day on Friday but it did come back ON late morning soooo DK did get the baking accomplished. Whew!
The Spanokapizza has been very popular with great reviews. So, it is now being made into a Pierogi Pocket. Potato, cheese, mushroom and rosemary. Delish!
DK has also been experimenting with the bagel dough. I tried them out on Friday since we had extra hydro time…lol…no, it is because Laurie works better under pressure…lol. Anyhoooo, I took a scoop of bagel dough, and flattened it out, laid down some organic tomato sauce, a little cheese, a little basil pesto, a few pieces of chopped tomato and mushroom, wrapped them up, a little more cheese, then some heat and you got a Bagel Wrap. They are made with dairy and non-dairy options. I will have a photo of them for the menu after this weekend. Grab and go….delish too!
