DK has been working on a Hamburger Bun since…well…I have ventured into GF baking…with NO success. Too heavy, too dry, yadda yadda yadda!
Well, I got to thinking that the Sprouted Flour Breads have been a new flavourful SUCCESS, I thought it may be the right ingredient for the Hamburger Bun and….IT WAS.
The Sprouted Flour adds a nice light flavour to the bun without it being too heavy and…the best part is, you can taste the burger and not just the bun. The only downfall to the bun is that it needs to be kept frozen and it likes a bit of heat to bring moisture back into the bun. Sooo, for the summer season this Hamburger Bun will now be available.
It comes frozen and if by chance it does dethaw before it makes it home into your freezer, no worries, you can refreeze it again.
DK is now offering loaves of bread in HALF sizes. Just the right amount for those wanting a little bit of bread!
