Sue’s Dad grows garlic for DK every year….he even peels them for us!
This year I decided to roast them up and make them into a garlic paste!
The roasting of garlic removes the strong bitter taste and brings in a soft sweet flavour.
There are a lot of leeks at the Market now so I thought this would be a nice combination for a sourdough!
A successful batch happened last week so I am thrilled to share it with you!!!
The garlic flavour is there….but not bossy at all….I have been eating mine all week with fresh tomato, lettuce and basil from the garden….soooo good!!!!
