Tigernut Bagels have the same “texture and chew” as a regular bagel but they feel so much lighter in the tummy!
They are sourdough leavened which means….there is NO “commercial bakers yeast” in them which is also a digestive irritant for a lot of people.
The process from start to finish is 24 hours. Time, love & patience is put into each one and you can “taste it” when you eat them!
The “non” grains have a long rest which allows all of the enzyme inhibitors to break down so that your body can easily assimilate all of the nutritional elements in the bagel. AMAZING!!!
These bagels are high in fiber and low in carbohydrates. The natural “sweet” taste of the Tigernut negates the “sour” flavour of regular sourdough….resulting in a delicious flavoured “grain-gluten-dairy-sugar-yeast free….vegan paleo” bagel. WOW!!!
